With the version 4.5, several new functions and features are now available: text recognition via OCR, audio transcription and a Super Admin Area for platform instances with multi-client capability.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:3.5rem;padding-bottom:0px\">Text recognition with OCR<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-bottom:2rem\">The new OCR function (optical text recognition) makes it possible to convert texts in scanned files into machine-readable text formats. From now on, you can easily upload and process scanned documents such as contracts, book pages and much more in the 506.ai platform. Thanks to the new OCR function, the error message \u201cPDF not processable\u201d is a thing of the past. This enhancement allows you to efficiently process and search scanned documents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2rem\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:3.5rem;padding-bottom:0px\">Transcription of audio files: new upload options<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the new transcription function, you can now upload the most common audio formats as well as the video format MP4 to the platform. Your files will be automatically transcribed in the background and the transcript created will be saved as a PDF. You can then continue to work with the transcript as usual, create an executive summary or ask questions in query mode \u2013 just as you would with a classic PDF document.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:35px\"><strong>Supported file formats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Video: MP4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Audio: MPEG, MP3, WAV, AIFF, AAC, OGG, FLAC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:35px\">The function also makes it easier to create meeting minutes: Simply upload the recording of a meeting to the platform, have it transcribed and create a clear protocol from it. This saves you time and helps you keep track of important content and decisions made in a meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:35px\"><strong>Helpful application tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Large MP4 files (over 300 MB): Use a converter to convert the file to MP3 format. This reduces the file size and speeds up the upload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patience during upload: Allow the upload to complete before continuing. This may take some time for large files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:3.5rem;padding-bottom:0px\">Additional API functions<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:35px\">In our latest version, we have introduced two new chat endpoints. The chatReferences endpoint returns the associated references in addition to the chat responses, which enables improved traceability and verification of the information. The chatNoStream endpoint, on the other hand, provides the results of the language model as a non-streaming response.<br>In addition, we have integrated the option to upload files via the API. The uploadMedia endpoint is available for this purpose. This feature allows you to create cross-company data stores and share them efficiently with different clients. Each instance is managed by a Super Admin, who takes over the central administration of these data stores. This enables a smooth data exchange across all clients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:3.5rem;padding-bottom:0px\">UX improvements and bug fixes<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-container container-wrapper para\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:35px\">In addition to the major innovations, we have also made numerous minor UX improvements and bug fixes to make using the 506.ai platform even smoother and more pleasant for you.
